Strix Scope II - Nothing worked well

Hi,

this has been the most ******ty software in my career I've seen... nothing works really well.. if this is not working, I'll send this keyboard back.. Unbelievable..

I'm not able to configure anything here. I tried several things nothing works, even after reinstalled the whole ****** I'm not able to do something..

As you can see I'm not able to something due to that error...

I'm also not able to update my keybord due to this:
I really did that, so why it's not working, it's so annoying...

Now I de-installed everything and installed the 300MB version of Armoury Crate,
After paring everything, I receive an information that an update is available here:
- I've connected the Keyboard in Wireless mode an via Cable

After pressing "OK" an information shows up I can search for Updated

After searching, I receive this information that I should a connection with USB Cable and the Dongle

After pressing ok I receive this error message... this is so annoying...whats wrong?

ird on mine is fine. no issues. in fact omni now wakes up. i can not duplicate you issue.

On the update.... it will a little hard. make sure the receiver and keyboard are on wire. restart and try again

Hello Evergladez

Try this and let me know if it gets your ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless updated.

1) Connect the cable to your keyboard and a pc usb port.

2) Set the wireless switch on your keyboard to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Try the update in Armoury Crate.

unfortunately this doesn't work, because I receive an info, that I should use it in wireless mode with the dongle

Have you updated the wireless dongle to the ROG Omni Receiver?

I couldn't update it, it seems to be I have the current version

Ok, so you've updated to the ROG Omni Receiver, this is good, but I'm not sure you have the latest version. I'm using Armoury Crate version 5.9.4.0.

Since you've updated to the ROG Omni Receiver, try this.

1) Uninstall Armoury Crate Gear from windows.

2) Reboot your pc.

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Connect the cable to your keyboard and a pc usb port.

5) Set the wireless switch on your keyboard to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

This way it's set up and ready to go for any updates in Armoury Crate.

6) Install Armoury Crate version 3.2.11.2 - Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)

7) Go to the Armoury Crate update center and check for updates.

Does this get you updated? You can check the firmware versions as in my screenshot.

Hi Nate,

I've de-installed Armoury Create because it's not working well. I've installed it separately, as you can see on the Screenshot. This works well.

After clicking on "Rog Strix Scope II" I receive an update Windows that a new Version  of my keyboard is available. So to receive the update is not the problem.

I click on "ok" to continue. Afterward, I receive the following window:

After clicking on "update" the message appears I already send to you, that I shouldn't disconnect the keyboard and so on.

After pressing "OK" I receive an information that I should use the USB cable AND the Dongle with my pc and I should use wired mode, but this is NOT working.

If I put my keyboard in wired mode and do what the software is saying, I receive the message you see below, it means the following:

'"Before you change the device setting, make sure that your device is active and set to RF 2.4 GHz mode. Also make sure that it is not paired with another receiver.".

So it doesn't make any sense to do that..

If I try to update it with usb-cable and wireless mode, I'm receiving an error code: 

So I hope this is clear.
