I recently purchased the Strix Flare for a relative, he was hoping to hook it up to the PS5, and the console recognizes it, that's as far as we can get however. None of the keys do anything, the weird thing is, if I record a macro, say set up the "W' key as a macro, it immediately recognizes that key, as well as any other combination of keys so long as they're macros. Clearly, the console can recognize them, but we're having issues getting it to work properly. Any suggestions? We've tried disconnecting and re-connecting, connecting to different USB ports, setting up profiles on Armoury Crate, and so on. I might just end up getting another keyboard should this have no solution, figured I would try the forums here and see if there were any suggestions though!

Hello Zephyr27
Have you set up the ROG Strix Flare with the PlayStation 5?
Here is a quick set up guide.
How to use a keyboard and mouse on PS5 consoles (US) (playstation.com)

Hi, Nate
It's been set up, and the console recognizes the keyboard. None of the keys work unless I record a macro for a key, a workaround I found was setting up individual keys through armoury crate, changing them to "keyboard function" from "default" but with that fix, you can't press more than one key at a time. Thanks for the suggestion though

You're welcome,
I don't have a playstation 5 or the ROG Strix Flare keyboard to test, but I do see the playstation 5 has three usb-A ports, one in the front and two super speed usb ports in the back, have you tried the front and back usb ports?

Yeah, unfortunately the port it’s connected to changes nothing

Hi, did you figure out how to do it?

press fn followed by pause break and it should work

We’ve tried that as well, I have a Razer keyboard that disables and enables “game-mode” through fn + f10/pause break, figured it’d be the same here, but it didn’t
