Seeking Assistance with Asus Rog Azoth Keyboard Bluetooth Connectivity

Hello Asus Rog community,

I recently acquired the Asus Rog Azoth keyboard and have been thoroughly enjoying its features. However, I'm facing some challenges with the Bluetooth connectivity that might be due to a misunderstanding on my part, and I'm hoping someone in the community can provide guidance.

Here's the situation: I successfully connected the Azoth keyboard to three different devices using Bluetooth. In Host 1, I paired it with my MacBook; in Host 2, with a Windows 10 laptop; and in Host 3, with a Windows 10 desktop. All connections were seamless until I needed to replace my Windows laptop paired in Bluetooth position 2.

In an attempt to reset the keyboard position for pairing with the new laptop, I followed the standard procedure by using the Fn + Esc combination to reset to factory default. However, the keyboard didn't become visible for pairing with the new laptop in position 2. Additionally, I also deleted the pairing from Bluetooth position 3 with my Windows desktop, and again, I encountered the same issue – the keyboard was not visible for pairing after deletion.

Here are the steps I followed:

  1. Switched to Bluetooth mode.
  2. Selected the 2nd Bluetooth host.
  3. Pressed the control knob to initiate Bluetooth pairing.
  4. Unfortunately, the keyboard didn't appear on my Windows laptop for pairing.

I want to ensure that I'm following the correct steps and not overlooking anything. If anyone in the community has successfully managed multiple Bluetooth connections with the Azoth keyboard or has insights on resolving this issue, your assistance would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support.

Hello ainigma100

I'm not using multiple Bluetooth connections, but I'm able to pair my ROG Azoth with Bluetooth.

1) Set the wireless switch on your ROG Azoth to Bluetooth.

2) Press and hold the button below the control knob for 3 seconds until it shows BT pairing/Host switch.

3) Press the control knob forward/backward to select between Bluetooth 1, Bluetooth 2 and Bluetooth 3.

4) Press straight down on the control knob until it shows Pairing . . .

5) If it doesn't pair, add the ROG Azoth to the windows Bluetooth device list.

For better performance and control in Armoury Crate, use wired mode or 2.4GHz wireless mode.

Hello Nate,

Thank you for your response!

I have tried all the steps given to me by Asus, but for some reason, if you register a device to your Bluetooth host, and then delete it, you will not be able to register again to the same position and new device.

I was told by Asus to contact my dealer, which in my case was Amazon and ask them a replacement or a refund. Earlier today, I sent back the keyboard to Amazon, and I ordered a new one.

Thank you very much for your response!

You're welcome,

Sorry to hear you had an issue with registration and had to order a new one. When you get your new ROG Azoth, let us know if all is well with Bluetooth.

Hopefully the new keyboard will not have the same issue. 🙂

Nate if you pair a device with your Asus Rog Azoth keyboard on host 1 and then delete the pairing from your pc, can you pair again the keyboard using the same host 1 position?

In my case, I had this specific issue

To be clear, product registration has nothing to do with the software functions (it's not compulsory). And devices can be deleted and paired as many times as you need.

I did not have a problem with product registration. The problem was related to Bluetooth pairing.

Ah ok, it sounded like you had some issue with registration causing issues with bluetooth.

When you get your new ROG Azoth, try the steps in my first post.
