ROG Strix Scope RX Key Popped Off

My keyboard slipped off my desk and landed awkwardly on my carpeted floor. Normally it wouldn't be an issue, but the ESC key popped off (the grey part, keycap, and spring). I have not been able to figure out how to put it back on. I don't want to break the 2 small "pinchers" on the left side. Anybody have any suggestions and/or videos to help me get it back on? The keyboard is only a couple months old and for now, I have programmed a mouse button to act like the ESC key.

Hey Rigwald, could you post a picture of what you're talking about?

Based on your description, it sounds like part of the switch itself popped out of the keyboard, but a picture would be helpful for understanding the exact situation.

Thanks for the picture! It does seem like there are some cracks on the clear housing portion of the switch, so hard to say if it'll re-assemble well.

For now though, check your inbox-- I'll be reaching out to you for some more info, and let's see if we can get this fixed.
