ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless treating other modes as Wired Mode.

Ynsignia
Level 7

So, I've been having this problem a few days now. Switching the keyboard from Wired Mode (turned off) to either 2.4Ghz Mode or Bluetooth Mode does not turn it on. No lights whatsoever. If i turn it to Bluetooth Mode nothing and if I plug in the USB-C while in Bluetooth Mode, it'll work like in Wired Mode. No Bluetooth, nothing. Also happens in 1.4Ghz Mode.

And please do not tell me to "just reseat the Omni-Receiver" BS. I have a ROG Harpe Ace Aimlab connected to it as well and it works no problem. And the firmware is also updated.

Any helpful help is highly appreciated. Thank you!

Can you share what you see in Armoury Crate if you switch to 2.4GHz wireless on the mouse and keyboard?

There should be an indicator in the bottom right to show if it is in 2.4GHz mode.

Nothing. You know when you power up your PC but nothing is lighting up? That's what it does. Whether 2.4 or BT keyboard does nothing. OmniReceiver is attached since I am using the Harpe (yes, both mouse and keyboard is connected to the Omni Receiver).

Problem is the keyboard does not "startup" when switched to 2.4GHz or BT mode.

If I put it in BT mode, nothing, no RGB, not detected. While in BT Mode and I connect the USB-C. It works, as Wired Mode.

This goes the same as the 2.4GHz.

So basically, wireless mode is botched.

Dunno if it's the switch.
