After updating the ROG Strix Scope ii 96 firmware to Version 6.00.03 dated 2023/11/09, my keyboard pairing with the omni receiver bugged out.
So I disconnected the pairing but when I try to pair back my keyboard it will fail. I follow the instruction switch to RF 2.4Ghz then press and hold the Fn+7 button for 3 seconds to start the pairing but every time it will fail. I discovered that the Fn button is not working in RF 2.4Ghz mode. I.E the Fn button will do nothing when pressed.
In wired mode the Fn button can only change selection on the multiwheel. When I try to do a factory reset by pressing Esc+Fn nothing happens.
I have tried reinstalling Armoury Crate and updating all the firmware/software but nothing seems to work. I am now only able to type while the keyboard is wired connected or bluetooth.

Hello NixS7
To reset your keyboard press Fn and hold, then press and hold the Esc key. Hold them both down for 10-15 seconds, your keyboard should start flashing.
Does this reset your keyboard?
If that didn't help, try disconnecting and reconnecting the wireless dongle. Make sure the wireless dongle is connected to a pc usb port.
Then try pairing it.
No issues here with the Omni Receiver

Hello Nate152
I tried to Fn+Esc button factory reset in all 3 modes - Wired, Bluetooth & RF2.4Ghz but nothing happens. No reset
I can use the keyboard normally in Wired and Bluetooth mode, the Fn button also works and can change the mutliwheel selection.
But when I change to RF2.4Ghz mode the Fn button will not work at all, it will not change the multiwheel selection when I press the Fn button.
I have change the wireless dongle to other pc usb port but I don't think there is anything wrong with the dongle. It seems more likely the firmware update has messed up the Fn button and RF2.4Ghz for me.

Hi Nix,
Can you confirm the firmware is saying the correct version?
Also please try Armoury Crate Gear, and see if you're able to pair using the Omni Receiver tool. I was having a similar issue but managed to resolve by plugging the Scope into another device and using AC Gear. Let us know how you get on.

Yes my firmware are the correct versions. Tried Armoury Crate Gear but cannot change nor pair
After doing further testing I can confirm that Fn button is not working at all after the Firmware update. That's why I cannot do a factory reset or pairing or anything that requires to press the Fn button together.
I am unable to reinstall the update or rollback the firmware to check if it can solve the problem.
Looks like my only option is to see what ASUS can do for me as it is still under warranty.

Strange issue for sure. I notice your ASUS Main SDK Plugin version is newer than mine, not sure if this would affect the Fn key.
Something you can try is uninstalling all HID Keyboard Device's, Omni Receiver and ROG Scope II 96 from device manager. Check under "Keyboards" and "Mice and other pointing devices".
Once all are uninstalled, reboot and see if this gives you the Fn key back, you may have an update in Armoury Crate.

I'll be honest guys, it is all my fault in this mess because I thought the Fn key is the ROG logo.
I look at the manual/instruction paper in my box and I misread the logo (Switch Function Key) as Fn key.
After Harshchoudhary advice to test every button did I find the actual Fn key. I'm really sorry to have bring you all on a wild goose chase
Thank you everyone for your advice and sorry again for my stupid mistake.
