ROG Strix Scope II 96 wired mode idle settings

Hello,

Idle mode works fine in wireless mode but not in wired mode.

Wireless mode: It powers the lights off after 10 minutes as I configured in Armoury Crate.

Wired mode: It changes my lights settings to solid blue but never power the lights off.

How can I change/disable this behaviour?

Thanks

 Hello mgcarnevali

I tested and can confirm, there does seem to be an issue with the lighting effects in wired mode.

I reported it to the tech team.

many thanks Nate!

Hello again,

I'm not sure if the issue is related to idle mode, I was playing tarkov in wired mode and the lights changed to solid blue, it should be noted that I cannot change lighting effects from Armoury Crate when this happens and I have to reboot my computer to be able to change the lighting effects in wired mode.

Hey mgcarnevali

I found why our ROG Strix Scope II 96% Wireless is stuck on the color blue.

Turn off the Windows Dynamic Lighting.

Hello Nate,

Yes, I disabled that setting yesterday and the blue light issue is gone but idle mode is still not working on wired mode, it never power the lights off.

Many thanks for your help.

This seems to be normal.

Testing sleep and the power saving feature in wired mode with the ROG Azoth and Strix Scope II 96% wireless, neither go to sleep in wired mode.

An easy solution is to let the cable connected for charging and set the switch to 2.4GHz wireless.

Hello Nate,

Yes, I'm doing this but I thought that charging speed would be faster in wired mode, is it the same?

Since you'll be using the battery in 2.4GHz wireless mode, it will take a little longer to charge but not much.

To speed up charging, turn off the lighting.

It would be great if tech team add in a future release idle mode while using the keyboard wired
