rog strix scope ii 96 static issues

so i don't know if anyone else is getting this issue, but randomly my keyboard will just go to bland static red, using function escape to reset it, keeps it on this static red, the only solution i've found is to reload armoury crate, and select rainbow then ripple, it's starting to get on my nerves and makes me regret getting this keyboard, cause red on a black background don't look cool, i like seeing the multiple colors flashing, when i type or play my games

Can't say I've seen this behaviour.

In Armoury Crate, navigate to Devices, then the Scope 96 II and click reset on both the Keys and Lighting tabs.

See if the behaviour persists.

Have you checked to see if Dynamic Lighting Priority is set correctly?

It may say Global Mode is off. Click Reset all devices if so.

Failing that, try uninstalling the app via the start menu and redownloading the package here

This is built into Windows 11. Please go to Settings > Personalisation>Dynamic Lighting.

never upgraded, went from windows 7 to 10, and stayed on 10

I’d consider upgrading, especially if it’s a gaming system. If the behaviour persists I’d be confident the problem you’re expecting isn’t a configuration issue.
