ROG Omni receiver not detected by AC out of the box: Strix Scope 96 wireless

Just Bought the keyboard and Armoury Crate  detect neither the device nor the Omni receiver in 2.4G mode nor in bluetooth mode
I can't update firmware via cable alone so I'm stuck, Saw other people all kinds of problems with omni receiver and I think Asus should take action. My GPU sliders were missing on my GU605MZ and I contacted support but surprise they don't have support in my region and they could not help me simply by sending the configurations. same problem again

Well I’m truly angry with what’s going on

I’ve confirmed with the local warranty that this is an actual issue in their whole batch, the omni receivers are not delivered with the compatible firmware. I had to go back and forth four times and tomorrow I’m going again for the so called top of the line keyboard of ROG. It’s time asus accepts some responsibility and decent customer support.

I’ve had an issue in the past regarding my G16 2024 laptop AC config, Still unsolved. I guess I’m gonna stop buying these products after being bitten for the third time.

Quick update I just found AC configs in German ASUS driver site, no thanks to support playing me around for months. Send me the right firmware for Omni receiver if you have it pls. This is nonsense ASUS

Hola, pude resolver el problema, con Omni receptor, al olvidar el teclado, fui a administrador de dispositivos, y busqué el omni receptor, regresé al controlador anterior, reinicie el equipo e intenté sincronizar el teclado y lo logré, ahora solo valida que tu equipo se apague por completo, existe una configuración en Windows que hace que el equipo no se apague por completo, ve a “opciones de energia\elegir el comportamiento del boton inicio apagado” desmarcar la casilla “Activar inicio rápido” esto para que si registres el apagado el equipo, me di cuanta  que Windows aunque des en botón de apagar no se apaga el por completo, y para validar que se apague ejecuta cmd, systeminfo, y te aparecerá cuando se instaló el sistema y cuánto tiempo lleva encendido, espero y te funcione.

Thank you for the insights, I did uninstall the OMNI driver html and I tested it on a downgraded armoury crate, for a brief time before it updated itself AC recognized the dongle. But went back to the way it was. This is interesting.

Install this firmware update - ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless Gaming Keyboard | Compact | Gaming keyboards｜ROG - Republic of Gamers...

1) Connect the charging cable to your keyboard and a pc usb port, you can use pc case or motherboard usb ports.

2) Set the wireless switch on the keyboard to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Do the update.

After the update, the ROG Omni Receiver should show in the Armoury Crate Device list.

Hi there, I did it all but the device simply do not detect the OMNI receiver to initiate update and I do not have any other OMNI receivers that I can test them, 

Here is the last OMNI update that AC did automatically. nonetheless OMNI receiver is nowhere to be found. It translates keyboard inputs but AC fails to recognize it and I am stuck on an OLD version of SCOPE II 96 FW. Only if they included a digital software for resetting / updating the OMNI receiverzzz

Tengo el mismo problema, con el receptor omni por favor necesitamos una solución, adicional quiero comentar que la configuración, del RGB es muy simple me gustaría, poder combinar los efectos ya que no puedo utilizar el efecto arcoíris y el el de arena y no es posible cuando otras marcas ofrecen eso

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the wireless dongle, you can also try different usb ports.

Sometimes restarting your pc will get missing devices to show.
