ROG Flare ii animate dead ?

Hello,

I had to perform several ON/OFF cycles on my PC in a row and now my keyboard is no longer working...

Steps taken:

• Uninstalled the drivers and rebooted Windows.
• Connected the keyboard to another PC and tried different USB ports.
• Pressed FN + ESC for 10 to 15 seconds (no response).
• Uninstalled Armoury Crate and reinstalled it, but the keyboard does not appear.

However, when connected to the PC with another keyboard, it reacts with the LEDs when I use Caps Lock or Num Lock.

I have seen that several people reinstalled the keyboard firmware. Could I receive the firmware via message?

Hello Holshh

To confirm, you're connecting both usb cables correct?

One cable is for the lighting, the other is for keyboard functionality.

Is there any reaction from the keyboard when either cable is connected?

Yes, the LED next to the lock window is lit, and for example, I am currently using another keyboard while having the Flare connected. When I activate Num Lock or Caps Lock, the LEDs on the Flare II react.

Of course both USB cables are plugged in and have been tested on multiple USB 2.0,  3.0, even 3.1 USB ports.
