Well I have had mine several days now. It is working great. Very good build quality, design, and lighting. Overall, to me it was worth the years wait.

I have an issue that the lighting only works on the number pad. I have uninstalled armoury and Aura but this has not helped, I have a maximus XI wifi board. Spatha Mouse works fine. Any help would be great no lighting at all works on the keyboard. This started and I updated all the software/firmware.

Update I noticed that this time when I installed the armoury the Claymore appears with the mouse in device manager and in keyboards it shows HID keyboard Device 4 times, when I unplug it 2 of them disappear. How weird is that?

As per company policy I can't state the exact date and it also differs by region. I can tell you it's extremely soon and APAC countries will likely get it first as HK and SG were among the first to carry the core version.

Additional info:
From the trend of recent new keyboard models it's usually APAC then EU, and then finally NA. All should be relatively close apart (weeks), so when you see it released in APAC, you should expect it "soon" for major EU countries as well.

Do you know long it will be after the "Core" version is out that the full version will be released?

Yeah. I am interested to find out as well.

Please advise when we can expect the full version keyboard.

I think most people would want to go for the regular version..

Actually I don't understand why you keep people waiting so long for a keyboard like this, and then finally when it's announced you tease us with a "lesser" version of it!

I personally think you lost a bunch of potential customers by announcing it such a long time ago.. (But I'm not part of your marketing dept. so I have no idea, seems logical tho)

Please give us information about the full version, Bahz!

I have a friend who got a 'full' version of this. I'm not sure if it was a review version or he actually got it from the Far East from one of his many friends there. He is quite happy with it but in the end says while it looks great, there isn't anything overly special with it. He said that while it is 'neat' that the Aura software links with his motherboard, it doesn't link with his Spatha (yet). So he finds it weird to have a keyboard in sync with the motherboard but not his mouse. We both assume (hope) that there will be new software coming out that should hopefully link them all in one program, whether it be under the Armory or Aura.

He does miss having a wrist rest and I can't imagine why Asus wouldn't include at least one that would be optional if you wanted to attach it. The 10key reversible keypad is a cool feature but as a person who has gamed right handed with the keypad at times in the way, it is nice to be able to detach it when you don't need it, he says.

I agree with Leetjuhh that Asus may have shot themselves in the foot, announcing it so long ago, but I personally can't fault Asus for that. You announce concepts and assume that your R&D folks will iron out the wrinkles quickly and be able to launch a product within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately it doesn't always work this way. The original Spatha and Claymore shown at the expos were really just shells with some LEDs, no software/hardware really was in them yet. They were more proof of concepts at the time. Sometimes it takes longer to get products out than anticipated and as Asus learned with the Spatha, releasing it too early can be more problematic than waiting.

I can only speak from personal experience on the mouse. I really love my Spatha. It is a big, hefty mouse. My wife says it is too big for her hand but I can palm mine with no issue. So if you like a lighter/smaller mouse, the Spatha isn't for you.

The keyboard I posted my friend's thoughts. I'm not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger on this one. I really do like my Corsair Lux RGB.
