I purchased a Claymore II and used Armoury Crate to update the firmware. In wired mode it behaves as expected, but wireless mode is now unusable for several reasons:
- A number of keys repeat twice or even three times, some more than others
- This seems to happen when I'm typing quickly and another key's "key down" occurs before the previous key's "key up". As a result you can type slowly but not quickly.
- Shift key is sometimes "always on"
- Other random unintended effects, such as putting my browser in diagnostic mode or moving and magnifying web pages
- Fn+Esc reset does not fix this
- Fn+F1 does not change the "repeating" symptom
I've seen some old posts on issues like this, so this appears not to be a new problem. I'll return the keyboard to the retailer while I still can if I can't solve the issue, which is a pity because I was enjoying it until the firmware upgrade.
