Rog Azoth - OLED doesn't turn on

DaveNotFound

Hi!

I just received the Azoth keyboard, I connected it to the pc via cable, updated via Armoury-Crate but the OLED screen is always off. The keyboard works perfectly including the side dial, dongle, backlight etc, but the screen doesn't. It never turned on. Could it be a factory defect or is there something software/firmware side I can do?

Thanks!

You can try resetting your keyboard by pressing and holding the Fn+Esc keys for 10-15 seconds.

If this doesn't work, it seems you may have a faulty OLED display.

I'll have you contact ASUS Tech Support for your region.

Hello DaveNotFound

Check in Armoury Crate on the OLED tab it's set to on.

Hi Nate, thanks for your support!

yes I confirm that the option is ON. I also checked all the settings today and on the software side everything seems ok. However, the OLED shows no signs of life. Is there some kind of "hard reset" I can do or do I need to replace the product?

Thanks

Mine is working then i tried to put an tape mode on the board but now the LED does not work. I noticed that something broke on the OLED. Does asus provide replacement?

I replaced it through Amazon. They verified and indeed I had a faulty Oled screen. They sent me a replacement and now it works perfectly.

Hello ernzt371

Sorry to hear.

Unfortunately, ASUS won't fulfill the warranty since it's physically damaged. They would repair it, but you pay for shipping. Once they receive it, they'll give you a price quote. Then you decide if you want to have it repaired.

What broke, does it look repairable?
