Rog Azoth input delay and constant lag issues

NotNThoughts

My azoth has really bad lag when playing any games and sometimes affects my other wireless devices like my mouse. The problem also gets worse when opening a tab or having something on my 2nd monitor. I have tried resetting the keyboard and using it in wired mode but the input delay still happens. This never happened when using my hyper x origins and mouse but it has happened ever since i got this keyboard and was hoping a software update would fix it but its only gotten worse.

You could go a step further and uninstall Norton 360 and just use windows defender.

Windows defender is all I use.

Hello NotNThoughts

Have you installed Armoury Crate and checked for updates?

Do you have the HyperX Ngenuity software installed? If so, try uninstalling it and reboot your pc.

Does your ROG Azoth work any better after doing this?

I have installed all updates available for the azoth and dongle as well as armoury crate. I also uninstalled hyperx Ngenuity and tested in several games and the lag is still there. sometimes its very bad input lag where keys don't register until 1-2 seconds later and sometimes it works with no issues. i suspected it was chrome that was maybe causing issues but there would be days where i can watch videos and have zero issues and then there was days where no other app was running and it would start to go crazy.

That is odd behavior that it sometimes works ok.

Hard to say what is causing the lag. The next time you get lag with your ROG Azoth, check task manager to see if any hardware is using unusually high resources.

You can also run the windows keyboard troubleshooter to see if it identifies the cause of the lag.

I think i may have found the issue, turning off norton 360 game optimizer so far has stopped the input lag issues but I'm unsure yet.
