TLDR: Is it possible today to use Fn+key like Fn+N to trigger a macro or a key combination?
Been reading this and other forums about this keyboard which I just purchased but haven't unboxed yet so I can still return it.
Reading/watching reviews I see lots of people crapping about the software (didn't bother me at first as all keyboard software are kind of crappy [just find out iCue is a 1GB download this days] but as long as there is onboard memory I usually use the software ones on a VM and never fired up again so I don't really care)
Been seeing how over the months there is been some fixes and features been implemented like Shift+FN+Home woks now and that last week they added a virtual keyboard for key assignment, but if I can't trigger a key combination like WinKey+Shift+Left with Fn+RigthAlt and Winkey+Shift+Right with Fn+RightCtrl that a real deal breaker (I have already REALLY analyzed sacrificing other key for these macros but I can't find any other way.
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry if my English is not that good.

I'm sorry, your english is great, I understand you perfectly.
Sadly no, you can't use the Fn key for a macro or other custom commands/functions.

Hello rasama
Yes, the ROG Azoth has on the fly macro recording, you can also create macros in Armoury Crate.
Armoury Crate works great, you'll need Armoury Crate for periodic updates.
The ROG Azoth supports the ROG Omni Receiver too.

Thanks for taking the time to help, but that wasn't what I asked for.
I have no problem using the software to program the keyboard but from every review this keyboard cannot assign a macro to a key combination e.g. Fn+N I believe this is called second layer? This function wasn't available at launch, is this still not available?

Sorry for a late reply.
Because the Fn key is used for other functions/commands, you can't use or customize the Fn key for other functions/commands. The Fn key is grayed out in Armoury Crate and is not selectable to use as another command/function.
But, you can still create macros and assign them to a specific key.

Don't worry and thanks again for taking the time but it must be my bad English, that wasn't what I asked for, I'l try to make it simple:
Can I assign a macro to FnKey+N?

Thank you very much Nate, I really appreciate your help.
I consider this a very basic function of a modern keyboard, much more for a USD 250 keyboard, so much that I didn't check for it before buying. I guest K65 Plus + translucent key caps is my only option, happy I didn't unboxed.
Thanks again Nate!

HOLY COW!!!!!!
The K65 Plus doesn't have onboard memory custom lighting nor onboard memory macros
WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!!!!
