Not sure if this might be possible via fw upgrade or requires a new hw design, but I would like to suggest Asus to add capability to limit max charging to (for example) 80% in order to extend battery life when keyboard is connected 24/7 to a charger, similarly to what already happens with some laptop/tablet/phones
I have seen another user asking the same in this discussion

While I agree that one of keyboard main selling points is being wireless, it's still clearly possible to use it connected via USB
I myself often move this keyboard around and sometimes leave it connected during the night so I think it would be nice if we could limit max battery charging

Hello Rick4
This is a nice idea, you can make this suggestion here. - Make Future Keyboard Feature Suggestions Here! - Republic of Gamers Forum - 902540 (asus.com)
I generally wait until the mode selector button with the ROG logo flashes red, then I'll connect the cable for charging. When the mode selector button flashes green, I'll disconnect the cable.
I can't say for sure, but I've seen a few posts about the battery swelling in various keyboards, this could be due to overcharging the battery or constantly using it in wired mode.
Just a precaution I take.
