Power Mode doesn't work - ROG Strix Scope RX TKL Wireless Deluxe(HU)

Hello,

I bought the Keyboard 6-7 months ago. Xbox with 2,4 Ghz stick + PC(not gaming) on BT. It worked perfectly. The battery lasted more than one months. I really loved it. I didn't use the Armoury Create. It was unnecessary.

A few weeks ago the power mode doesn't work and I have to charge the keyboard after a few days, if I don't switch off the keyboard manually. It's frustrating.

-I installed the AC. Power mode is on. Firmware update. etc...not working
-Keyboard reset. not working
-The keyboard disconnected from all devices. not working

Any idea? Or warranty? 😞

Hello sbstian

When you say power mode, you must mean power saving mode.

To access Armoury Crate, you'll have to use wired mode or 2.4GHz wireless mode. Bluetooth has limited functionality and doesn't let you access Armoury Crate.

To reset your keyboard press and hold the Fn + Esc keys for 10-15 seconds.

To update your keyboard with Armoury Crate...

1) Connect the cable to your keyboard and a usb port on your pc.

2) Set the wireless switch on your keyboard to wired mode (Switch set to the center position).

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a usb port on your pc.

4) Try the update in Armoury Crate.

Once you're able to access Armoury Crate and update your keyboard, can you post a screenshot of the Power tab? As an example here is the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless.

Thanks. Yes,sorry. You are right. Power saving mode.

Sorry, I could  be missunterstood. I already did these, but they were ineffective(update on cabel of course):
-I installed the AC. Power mode is on. Firmware update. etc...ineffective

Armoury Crate looks to be updated so all good there, you can try checking again for updates at the update center.

Doing some testing....

1) With the cable connected and the switch on the keyboard set to wired mode, my keyboard does not go to sleep.

2) With the wireless dongle connected to a pc usb port and the switch on the keyboard set to 2.4GHz wireless mode, my keyboard goes to sleep.

3) In Bluetooth mode, my keyboard goes to sleep.

You mention an Xbox, if it's connected to your pc, disconnect it to do some testing.

Try both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth. For good measure, make sure the cable is disconnected and see if your keyboard goes to sleep.

it works! 🙂
2,4 Ghz dongle connected to PC and the AC gave an other Firmware update with a warning (~It must be connected with cable and dongle too.) After the new firmware the power saving mode work again. (BT and 2,4 Ghz)
