I have an ASUS ROG FALCHION M601wireless keyboard and a few times per day the keyboard just decides to repeat keystrokes (even happened while typing this). Sometimes it's just ones sometimes it spams it until I press something else. It's very disruptive as I type a lot with it. Anyone else had any of these issues and where you able to solve it?
I had the issue reported and send the log file over the google form as requested. Then it worked for a week or two and I think it was now after the last Windows update that it started now again... Keys are repeating themselves, copy & paste does not work as it does not take the part you want to copy and you have to copy twice... all that with a brand new laptop that I paid a lot for.... really frustrating. And that you know I cannot uninstall windows or do anything on my BIOS as it is my working laptop and I need it every day and cannot risk any loss of data!
OK thank you. Another thing that happend always and is probably connected to this, when you start typing it often does not take the first input, only the second key press and following are done but the first is not registered.
Anything on a fix for this issue yet? I feel like I threw $ in the bin since I can't use the keyboard. How about I send it back to you for credit towards other ASUS goods? Thanks,
It's been over a month since I submitted the required docs. The keyboard is just sitting there getting old. You've put me over the time limit for returning it as I anticipated a fix sooner considering I'm not the only one experiencing the repeating key press issue. Please update on the status or offer an alternative solution. I'm tired of waiting and very disappointed in the way this is being handled. Thank you.
The same issue happened with me with Rog Flow X16 Laptop. The first press would be missed and then the next press of the same key will trigger a torrent of that key stroke ! I restarted the machine but not before making a video. After restart has not occurred yet ... I tested multiple applications and browsers while it was happening and the problem was same. Just wanted to add it in here ... thanks. (I suspect its some issue with the interupt of the keystroke reaching as a long key press for the first key press and then it treats like a sticky key)
