Azoth Extreme not updating

When I try to update through armory crate it will download the update, then install it. Afterwards it will say update again like never updated. I’m not sure if this is my keyboard of if this is a software bug. The keyboard is brand new out of the box 

also, side note is there a way to turn my OLED screen off during PC sleep mode, I can turn off the affected and wall paper but it will still show the battery percentage (I keep it wired mode)

I don’t want to burn in the old screen during sleep mode. I would like to keep it completely off. 

also, when the keyboard is turned on, I can display my custom background but it will shows data on the left and right of the screen, is there a way to turn all that off and only display my custom background?

I have the ROG Azoth (not the extreme version).

To update your ROG Azoth Extreme in Armoury Crate:

1) Connect the charging cable to your keyboard and a pc usb port, you can use motherboard or pc case usb ports.

2) Set the wireless switch on the keyboard to wired mode.

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Try the update in Armoury Crate.

It's normal for the battery % to show in wired mode when your pc is shut down. You could just disconnect the charging cable if you're concerned about burn in. 

I don't see any way to turn off the data on either side of the oled display.

How does the update go?

It will begin the update process and install then immediately say there’s another update available and it’s the same update I just did. 

I found a solution to turning the screen off just place PC in hibernate instead of sleep mode and enable S4 on bios

Ah yes, the ErP setting will work to turn off the oled display as it cuts power to the usb ports.

For the update, let the cable and wireless dongle connected. Open Armoury Crate and go to the update center.

Toggle the wireless switch from wired to wireless mode, wait for the spinning red circle each time you switch it.

Does this get the update to disappear?

What do you mean by spinning red circle?

I can complete the update fully. It will download then install. Then armory crate reloads and the update is back like as if I never updated my it to begin with. Like it doesn’t save or something

Sometimes when switching between wired mode and wireless mode you will get a spinning red circle. Wait for the spinning red circle to stop before switching again.

Does the update show a red triangle similar to this?

No I do not have that triangle. It seems to update properly with no error but I can just update again like nothing happens. Can I uploaded a short video or are only images allowed

Thank you for the video, it looks like you're updated to the ROG Omni Receiver as well.

Double check your ROG Azoth Extreme is unsynced from Aura Sync.

Uncheck the box if it's checked, then try the update.
