ASUS ROG Strix Scope RX TKL Wireless Deluxe - "8" key possibly damaged, led doesnt do anything.

Just bought this used off Amazon, the "8" key doesn't do anything, is there a way to fix this ?

Try resetting your keyboard by pressing and holding the Fn + Esc keys until the lighting flashes green.

Does this get the 8 key working?

the key stays lit, all the other keys flash but 8 stays white and lit when pressing/holding  esc + func

Did you try to customize the lighting in Aura Creator? Can you change to the default profile (Disable Aura Sync then press Fn+6) 

Sounds like the LED was somehow assigned to be white. Typically, if an LED is broken or defective, it will not be white. Every LED is comprised of 3 small LEDs (RGB), if one of two of them are faulty, then the color cannot display correctly but never white (all 3 colors must be illuminated to achieve white).
