Asus ROG Claymore II RGB Question

II recently purchased the ROG Claymore II Keyboard and i am wondering when i am plugged into the USB C port and i shut down the computer the battery indicator stays on even when i have shut down the computer.

Is there any way to change that so the keyboard shuts down and has no lighting?

You could try using the shutdown effect in Armoury Crate or Enable "ErP Ready" in the bios.

Thanks, Someone on discord said since its connected to the Z690-I Strix thunderbolt header its always providing power.

If your motherboard supports bios flashback, you likely have it connected to the bios flashback usb port, not the thunderbolt header.

Check to see, it will say BIOS by the usb port.

Its plugged into USB C/Thunderbolt 4 port on the Z690-i Strix Gaming Wifi

Would you have an open usb A port?

You could use the USB-C to USB-A adapter cable.

Can I still use the USB passthrough then with that?

I wouldn't see why not, but try it first connected to a motherboard USB 2.0 - 3.0 port.
