Hello,
I’ve been having a serious issue with my ROG Claymore II wireless dongle. Whenever I plug it into my PC, it gets very hot after a short time and the keyboard is unable to connect through wireless mode.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Unplugged and replugged into different USB ports (front and back).
Let the dongle cool down before reconnecting.
Tried both direct-to-PC and through a hub.
Updated Armoury Crate and checked for firmware updates.
Tested the keyboard in wired mode via USB-C (works fine when wired).
Despite these steps, the dongle still overheats and won’t connect.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is this a known hardware fault? Should I request a replacement dongle from ASUS?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello Hellyah25
Have you tried using the usb extender for the wireless dongle?
