To do the update in Armoury Crate:
1) Connect the charging cable to your keyboard and a pc usb port.
2) Set the wireless switch on your keyboard to wired mode (switch set the center position).
3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.
4) Try the update in Armoury Crate.
How does the update go?
Exactly thoose steps i have followed. Im in this steps ,that nothing is happening after press "OK" .
After trying to pair with RF 2.4 Mode and (FN+7" and display says "Pairing" , in omni reciever in Armoury Create i go " add link keyboard " because it not shown above. But getting this after a while.
yes. I thought it updated to 4.00.08 Firmware before i updated the Omni Reciever that caused all thoose problems. But i see now that it is on 4.03.50 . Sound like much never version than that Armoury create says.
I have tried all usb on the back. Thoose from Motherboard. All in front. Also tested USB C Hub with USB A slots. With no sucess with the update.
All you need to press is Fn + 7 to pair, no need to press the side button.
If it's still not pairing, two things I'd try:
1) Uninstall the ROG Omni Receiver and all HID Keyboard Device from device manager, then reboot.
Under "Keyboards" and "Mice and other pointing devices", right click and uninstall both ROG Omni Receiver and all HID Keyboard Device.
Try the update after rebooting.
If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the firmware update - ROG Azoth | Gaming keyboards｜ROG - Republic of Gamers｜ROG USA
I did take away all : HID Keyboard Device , all Rog Omni Reciever both in mice and pointing and under keyboards. Restarted pc.
Reinstalled firmware update.
After that i started Armoury create again and choose omni reciever for pairing with no sucess. Have no updates to download and install either.
Suddently it popped out that i have update for the azoth . Did that update in " Rog Azoth app" . Didnt work to update in Armoury Crate app. When i go back to Armoury Crate is still says update to that update , that i allready have .
