Asus Azoth Extrme edisplay Auto dims

Hi,

I have the asus azoth extreme, just got it today. the device seems to auto dimm pretty quick.. i updated to latest firmware, used wire, turned off power saving, turned brightness to 100%, nothing is working... the oled display seems to dimm after about a minute or less. Any fixes to this?

also, my RGB seems to be a bit dim as well on max brightness. defective unit perhaps?

Hello mobanquet.  I have a Asus Azoth (2023).  In the beginning I had the same problems that you seem to have. I have spent the last three days trying to understand Armoury Crate.  I am no expert but the left hand tab with the keyboard and mouse symbol leads you to the ROG AZOTH page.  Under the lighting tab you will a choice of 11 effects symbols.  Avoid the last one "Aura Sync" and so long as you have the switch above the words "Basic Effects" set to on the box on the right allows you to set the brightness and speed.  I assume that this only applies to "Basic Effects" as any other choice blanks the box out.  On the same page if you move to the power tab.  This seems to be the only way to influence those settings.  As I am floundering around it may be that each profile has different settings that have to be saved against it.  You may be aware that in wireless mode the only lighting you are going to get is of the basic type.  This is I think due to band width problems with wireless.  It may be a good idea to re set the board using the Fn and Esc keys.  Mine seemed to benefit from that as I have no brightness or power issues now.  Best of luck.
