ROG Theta 7.1 awful mic quality

Hi All,
I spent the day repairing my PC and when i booted it up again, my ROG Theta 7.1 mic sounds terrible and raspy.
I have had no issues with the mic before.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, and even with the software uninstalled it still sounds raspy

A shame as i LOVE the positional audio and sound quality on the headset

What would be the best course of action?

Have you solved your issue? Beacause i seems to have the same problem sometimes.. But i just unplug the mic and its fixed 😮

Try to disable the other sound output/input devices from the device manager and close the associated software for those devices. Especially if you need to unplug the headset to resolve issues.
