ANC.
I know that they aren't meant to be outside headphones but some ROG wireless headphones have built-in mics so I don't know why we can't have ANC with them. If it can't be processed on the device at least as an armoury crate feature like those AI microphone features.

future things for headsets? here are my ideas: a lightweight headset on battery with a charging station. audio is 8.2 (one surround per ears, i wonder why there is 7.1 in headset... in which ear is the surround? and 3 and a half audio for each ear too...). the battery can keep up for a full week or more (50 hours minimum with audio on). RGB on speakers and a light on the microphone when it's on. and the best feature: everything is controlled with armoury crate for fine tuning audio or lights without a single problem

Hey fotorecent, nice to meet you,
as an answer to your question "...in which ear is the surround?":
Every Surround System is made of a bunch of speakers right? - 8.2 Surround means nothing less than Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos is also a copyright signed Trademark and IF this headset would have Dolby Atmos, the price would increase of cause.
Now here's the next problem by DA-Support: Frontspeakers Left + Right, Center-Speaker-Front + Center-Speaker-Rear, Rearspeakers Left + Right, Subwoofer Front + Subwoofer Rear, Dolby Atmos Speaker Left and Right who are in fact in reality on the wall mounted, above the Rear Left + Right Speaker or on top of the Rear Left + Right Speakers, to shot the sound against the ceiling, where the sound gets reflected to the position where you sit. - Do you see some sort of problems when we get to weight? I mean, to be honest, we would need in every ear-cup of the headset at least 6 tiny satellites?... My mate *6*!!!
Now here we come to the ROG THETA 7.1 which has already 4 tiny satellites in every earcup and here's your answer "In every earcup is the TRUE surround sound", which means in facts, that when you play a movie on your PC with native 7.1 Dolby *Something* output and you use this headset, you'll have the true 7.1 Surround Sound experience!
What's adding weight to this headset is simple - the soundcard of this headset is build-into it!
In your case, you will add even more weight to this headset, because you want long-life Lithium-Ion or Poly-Lithium-Ion batteries also included into this headset. Yeah ... imagine 1.5- upto 2.0kg on your head... wtf.^^
My personal advice to you is simple: Please teach yourself about Surround Sound Systems first. If you do it because your are seriously interested on it, then it will work.
But Bro, if you never ever were interested on Surround Sound, you can go for a simple "Wireless BT Stereo Headset" which you could also use "wired" while reloading the batterie and then get use of THX Spartial Audio by RAZER f.e. or any kind of (VIRTUAL-)Surround-Sound simulating Software, because you will not experience a difference, because you are missing experience of True Surround Sound.^^
I got a Homecinema System and because of that, I will only buy TRUE SURROUND SOUIND Headsets.
The only thing I really miss on the ROG Theta 7.1 is a Subwoofer-Base-Feeling, which would be supported by lil Shock-Rotors like the old SpeedLink MEDUSA 5.1 Headset had. It's some sort of "simulated subwoofer", but our senses aren't able to make a difference.
As always, peace.

The subwoofer was present on the centurion and strix 7.1, both older true surround Asus released prior to the theta, and due to the smallish housing of the drivers when the subwoofer would hit- it would actually create such a force it would distort the other drivers unintentionally so that's why the theta went with a virtual bass instead , and I've owned all 3 headsets and by a country mile the thetas clarity is so much greater the strix 7.1 and centurion

For headsets I feel like it would be cool to have a black frame of headphones but somehow make them compatable with the armoury and on the ear pieces have the outside light up with the small legs so that it can do one of the small animations on the sides like a flame or a cat

The ROG Delta II would be great if a white colored variant was offered. Would also be great if the ROG Delta II headset can be updated to fit smaller heads better as a few online youtubers and myself have reported the fitting loose on smallest adjustment setting.

Make the Delta 2 have better cushioning in the headband, it starts to hurt quite quickly.

Independent headphone and adapter firmware updates. I've had issues bricking a set because one was dependent on the other to be updated.
Noise cancellation. It's nice to have on a 14 hour plane ride when gaming and/or listening to music.

Great initiative to gather community-driven innovation! Here's a headset idea rooted in personal alignment—what if future ROG headsets included biometric feedback (like heart rate or stress sensors) and integrated AI-driven soundscapes that adapt based on the user’s mental state or energy level? This isn't just about immersion; it's about syncing your gear with your destiny. At https://matrixdestiny.net/, we believe the future lies in personalization that taps into who we truly are.
