Centurion buzzing sound on speaker setting.

Hi all just got my new Centurions today and so far am mightily impressed with things apart form the terrible mic sound and one other odd problem. When switching to the speaker setting and playing though my bose sound dock or any other speaker headphone I get a fairly loud buzzing tone that oscillates slightly and is around 500hz.

I have so far tried several different cables and USB ports.

I cannot find anyone else thats had this problem have I just been unlucky and got a faulty one?

Any help would be appreciated.

John

p.s. It would seem this might be a fault as my ENC switch makes no difference either. Having had a few sets of noise cancelling headphones including a set of vulcans I am aware of what it should do. So disappointing....

Well I guess Asus no longer reads these forums. Will request a refund and send these back. The £1 mic I can live with but the loud buzzing sound via speaker out put not so much.

I have bought ROG stuff for as long as its been around my last five motherboards and two monitors have all been ROG. and always found the asus people helpful guess no longer.

My decision to pick an acer predator 34a instead of the asus pg34 is sitting better with me now. Poor build quality and support very very disappointing asus.

Asus appear to release new hardware before it works, and expect consumers to do the testing for them. Think Centurion Headset and the XG Station 2 external GPU. Very poor. I don't think I'll ever buy anything Asus until it's been out for 6 months.
