Temps not reading right on astral 5090

So i just got a 5090 and it was working fine. I ran a benchmark on Steel Nomad and then all the connectors went red (22.36A) and have stayed red ever since and also the temps for the memory are saying 2235*c. I have uninstalled GPU tweak 3 and reinstalled it and also reinstalled all the drivers nothing is working.Screenshot 2025-03-16 184442.png

Hi @eclipsedriver

Can you confirm whether you mean the Power Detector + function was reading 22a per pin?

Try connecting using a different cable, or if possible a different PSU entirely.

I too have the same problem with my GPU Tweak, I bought a Astral 5090 yesterday and on the first 1-2 boots the software voltage pins and Memory Temps were working fine all green. Now all connectors went red (22.36A) and are stuck there and Memory Temps show reading in thousands. Also the Power Detector Toggle is not present in the App anymore.

Hi, I've moved this thread to service.

Can you list full system info, as well as which versions of GPU Tweak III you've tried and which display driver.

Hello, I bought a new PSU, Asus Strix 1200W Platinum and used the Cable provided with it and the problem went away. Everything is functioning properly in GPU Tweak now.

I have the Same Problem with my Astral LC 5090 OC. I use a 1500W Bequiet dark power 12.

Hi @camellion

The problem is most likely with the PSU cable/connector or the unit itself. Power Detector + exists to detect improper contact and power imbalance issues. First port of call should be to inspect the power supply and ancillaries.

I could solve my Problem by pluging off and on the cable again. Now the temps and Power will be displayed correctly in GPU Tweak III. No other cable needed.

I also have the EXACT same issue though with a new 5080.  Bought a new Astral 5080 connected to a Corsair RMx SHIFT Series RM1000x power supply. First few boots were fine.  All green.  Did some firmware/software updates including GPU Tweak 1943, Armoury Crate.  Now the 12vhpwr indicates 22.36a for all pins + the same bizzare 2235 degrees for memory.  I've tried 3 different sets of power cables & different outputs on the power supply.  No change.  Noticed that when I cycled the power supply power OFF & then rebooted, the reading were normal and green for a few minutes in GPU tweak 3 but then went to red and 22.36a again after a bit and stay that way.  There are no red lights on the power supply during runtime or powered off, so the cable are plugged correctly.  I did try the the huge Asus supplied power connector with no change.  The card seems to run fine though!

Also: HWiNFO reports GPU 16-pin HVPWR voltage @ 12.094V & is super consistent this is obviously in direct conflict with the GPU Tweak 3 bizarre readings.
