RTX 4090 OC Power Connector Cable Mod 180 degree getting extremely hot

Hello I have been having all kinds of issues with my new AMD All ASUS build, but more on that later. Today I was able to enter into a game and after about 20 minutes into the game I started to smell burning. So I opened the side door on the ASUS GR701 Hyperion and checked the Cable Mod 180 Connector I did not notice any melting or melted plastic, but the connector and the ASUS Thor PSU 12VHW cable end was hot. The Thor display was only showing 437 watts on the OLED and the GPU on Crosshair Extreme MB OLED was 57 ' C for GPU.  

Should I be worried? ? Is the Strix 4090 OC cards also having the melting connector issues also?

It is also advised not to excessively increase the power consumption of related hardware until everything is confirmed to be normal. Please clear the CMOS and ensure that the BIOS is set to default settings for further verification.
