A nice new problem I have. After a cold boot I can see the ROG post screen and it starting to load Windows. The screen goes black and I wait for the login screen and it never appears. I can here the Windows 11 intro sound so I know it loaded. I have to disconnect the DP cable and reconnect. Then it works.
I've had to switch to different driver versions due to other issues but this one seems to persist. Right now I'm at 555.85.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
SIDE NOTES: turning the monitor off and on again restores the image. When uninstalling all NVIDIA drivers and then reinstalling the screen goes blank (as it should normally do when first installing) but does NOT come back on (same issue as cold boot). I have to go through the same routine as I do after cold boot to restore the image.
Was installing the 537.58. Same problems. Doesn't appear to matter what driver version.
