RGB on ROG STRIX 1080TI not working

my gtx 1080ti's rgb isnt working, i am aware about the issue where only some of the lights light up but in this case non light up. only for a split second, the RGB on the backplate lights up but then turns off immediately, pls help

The fact they light up is a good sign, let's see if we can get them working.

Do you have the RGB program for your 1080Ti installed? If not, go ahead and install it and see if it gives you RGB control. 

In the link below select windows 10, if you're using windows 11 it should still work. Under Utilities click "See All Downloads" in red, scroll down until you come to "Aura RGB Lighting Control for Graphic card & XG-STATION ver0.0.6.7".

Give this a try and see if it gives you RGB control for your ROG Strix 1080Ti.

omg thank you, it fixed it, sorta. now only half of the RGB is showing, how can i fix than

If some are working and some are not, it's possible some of the led's could be bad.

Could you post us a picture or two? This will give us a better idea of the led's.

i dont know how to send a pic but basically, I searched it up a bit more and apparently my fiber optic leds are bad, and when I checked them they were really yellow, leds are fine

Do all the led's work, front and backplate?

Do they change color with the color dial?

It looks like some of the led's have stopped working.

Are you within the 3-year warranty from the purchase date?
