Edit: looks like the original thread didn't copy over when @Silent_Scone moved my message. I'm pasting the relevant parts together here:
I recently got a Prime 4070 Ti super on the Amazon Black Friday sale, and it works great except for one thing: There's this silly LED that turns ON when I suspend my machine, and it's driving me crazy. Does anybody here know of a fix?
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650 AORUS Elite AX V2
Power supply: CORSAIR 750W 80 Plus Gold (Type-4, 2 PCIe slots available for GPU)
Things I've tried so far, based on various suggestions I found online - all without success:
...
This thread suggests that it's an issue with the adaptor cables, and that switching to something like the one I got should help. My PSU doesn't have a 16-pin 12VHPWR output, but people in that thread seem to have success with 8x2-to-16 pin cables. Maybe I'll try the CableMod one.
...
Update: swapping the cable for the "CableMod C-Series Pro ModMesh Sleeved 12VHPWR 90° StealthSense PCI-e Cable for Corsair" didn't help either. Really frustrated with the LED issue on this card. Hopefully there will be another sale before the end of January, then this one can go back.
Last update: swapping the PSU for a PCIe 5 one with 12VHPWR cable didn't help either, so the GPU went back. I'm happy with a competitor's product now.

Ok, thanks for verifying. I'll move the post to ROG Care for the attention of service to see if they can assist you further.
