Hello everyone. I have replaced my 4080 Strix with a 4090 Strix because I need the extra ram. Now I have the problem that the system (9800x3, B650e-f Asus MB), which previously ran absolutely reliably, always has massive lags when I first boot up; sometimes the screen goes black and the system auto-reboots or the stuttering persists. If I then reboot once or twice, everything runs smoothly for hours. I have already tried tweaking the bios (the PCIE settings), but nothing works. Are there any magic tweaks? A 4TB m2 is on the graphics PCIE lane, could that be the problem? But why does the whole thing work after a few minutes? Or is it a warranty case?
Cheers!

The Boot Problems i had too of my X670E Extreme. What helped me was updating to the last Beta Bios 2804. At you (B650E-F) Bios 3207.

All I know is that this problem was there before and was later fixed with a BIOS update. Since the last BIOS Version it has been back again. I don't know why. But it seems to be a Bios problem. Somehow the problem comes and goes from Bios Version to Bios Version.

So, would it be helpful to try older bios versions until I find one that doesn't lag? What do you think?

Everyone has to decide that for themselves. The Boot problem occurred again for me with AGESA 1.2.0.3.

That was in 1-2025, right? So maybe I do try to flash an older version.

OK. I've had now this once. First colt start of the day and what can I say the mouse and the screen stuttered. Restart and everything worked again. Really strange problem. But I had it for the first time since flashing the new Beta Bios 2804 for 3 days. The other days everything was fine.
