Problems starting Win 11!

Baghe

Hi everyone, I'm writing in this section because I think the problem is caused by the video card, but I'm not sure.

Let's get to the problem.
New PC, built by me (it's not the first time).
Every time I turn on the PC, it loads the Bios without problems, Windows too, but instead of having the typical initial login screen, I find myself in this situation:

startup-Pc.jpg

I have no way of doing anything other than forcing the shutdown.
I wait 10/15 seconds, turn it back on and everything works fine.
Even for hours/days in a row.

But if I turn it back on the next day, same screen and so on.

Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

PC SETUP:

MSI MAGB650 TOMAHAWK
RYZEN 9700X
32GB DDR5 6000mhz
ASUS TUF GAMING RX 7900 XTX
Toughpower GF3 1000W
KINGSTON FURY M.2 2TB

Hi @Baghe ,

Thank you for contacting us.

To troubleshoot the graphics card issue you're experiencing, we recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Graphics card slot: Remove the graphics card from the PCI-E slot, carefully check for any dust or debris in the slot, and ensure it is securely re-inserted.
  2. Graphics card testing: If you have another computer, try moving the graphics card to the other computer to rule out the possibility of a faulty graphics card. If it works fine on another computer, the problem may lie with your motherboard or other hardware.
  3. Cable testing: Try replacing the HDMI or DisplayPort cable to rule out the possibility of a damaged cable.
  4. Graphics card driver: Please ensure that your graphics card driver is up-to-date. You can visit the graphics card manufacturer's official website to download and install the latest driver.
  5. Memory check: Remove the memory modules, clean the gold fingers, and reinsert them to ensure good contact with the slots.
  6. BIOS settings: Enter the BIOS setup and set the boot mode to UEFI or Legacy, and adjust according to your system requirements.
  7. MSI official support: In addition to the above suggestions, you can also contact MSI official customer support directly, providing more detailed system configuration information so they can confirm the issue too.

Thanks Aurealiann!
I've done mostly of these steps. I can't do number 2 but I am also missing test 3. I will try tonight and let's see.

Some updates!
I started the PC using an HDMI cable and everything went smooth. I don't have another DP cable to check if something is wrong with the old one. As soon as I get one I will finish my testing. I really want to use DP and not HDMI.
But thanks for your support!

Hi @Baghe ,

Thank you for your response.

We're pleased to hear that everything is working smoothly when using the HDMI cable.

Based on your description, the issue might be caused by a damaged or faulty DisplayPort cable, or there may be an issue with the DisplayPort interface on the monitor.
If you wish to use the DP cable for connection, we recommend sending the monitor along with the cable to an official service center. The engineers will perform further diagnostics and assist with resolving the issue.

Thank you for your understanding and support!
