One reason why I selected Asus Astral RTX 5090 is due to high reputation in the market in which (up to my best knowledge) no single report was related 12V-2x6 pin power connector melting or burning. However, I was too worried when I got such expensive GPU "Astral 5090" from having this bad scenario under a high stress gaming condition. Since two months, I was working to find a good solution that would protect Astral from this issue as I do not like smoking smell 🙂
