I have an Asus Crosshair X670E Hero motherboard and recently purchased an Asus TUF 4090 OG OC card. The card and board seem to work perfectly once in Windows, however during bootup, I cannot access the BIOS. The screen is blank/black screen when starting up or needing to get to the BIOS. Now I have 2 Samsung 32" 4K LS32BG852NNXGO monitors. Both monitors are plugged into the HDMI ports on the card. I noticed in HDMI 2.0 mode is when I get this issue. If I switch a monitor to HDMI 1.4 mode, then I can see the screen and get into the Bios normally, but have to switch back to 2.0 mode once in Windows. This is getting annoying and becoming a pain if I have to reboot and/or enter the Bios for any reason. I saw it looks like Asus released a firmware update for the other non-OG variants of the card to fix an issue that seems to be similar if not the same exact issue but no firmware for this variant of the card.
There has to be a fix that Asus can implement or please advise if I am missing something?

Hello Maverick009
It's possible you may need this Nvidia firmware update.

I have checked and it shows firmware up to date.

There was a new Nvidia driver released today, could give this a try. - GeForce Game Ready Driver | 566.36 | Windows 11 | NVIDIA
Have you tried with a displayport cable?
Displayport 1.4 has much higher bandwidth than HDMI 2.0.
HDMI 2.0 - 18 GB/s
Displayport 1.4 - 32.4 GB/s

A new driver does not work. This issue happens at boot up. One in Windows, everything works as expected.
Also I was use to saying HDMI 2, but the monitor is actually HDMI 2.1 spec which has more bandwidth and can drive the 240hz 4K resolution.

Have you updated the motherboard bios to version 2506?
I wonder if this would help with the blank screen on boot up.

I am actually on the latest mother bios. Also all drivers are updated, etc. It seems to be an issue with the TUF 4090 OG OC Bios and/or Motherboard at the Bios and startup.

TechPowerup has a vbios collection for Nvidia gpu's, was going to compare yours to theirs, but I don't see one for the ASUS TUF RTX 4090 OG OC. They only show the specs.

You could ask Nvidia, they have an online chat.
