Armoury Crate not installing 501

Hello! I'm having major issues installing Armoury Crate. 501 error on light installation, no progress on full installation.

I have the exact same issue. It began when AC automatically installed the latest version. I have used the uninstall tool, and attempted to reinstall, multiple times, shut off all anti-virus/firewalls, reinstalled and repaired all versions of VC++ Redistributables, and the problem continues. I have also run the AC Lite Log Tool, and have my logs ready to upload, all 1.4GB of it. Now, onto figuring out where I need to upload my logs to. 

 

I have been running AC for years now, this is the first time I have run into an issue like this. But, no matter what I do, it fails every time with an error 501.

I’m also noticing an issue with Lite Log. I tried running the logger at the start of the installation, right before the 501 error occurred - enabled the checkbox and packaged it, then enabled the checkbox, waited for the error, and packaged it again - but the resulting log is only 1 KB in size, basically empty. Maybe Im doing something wrong?

If you have already used the official Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool to uninstall and reinstall but the problem still persists, we kindly ask you to provide the Armoury Crate Log for our review. 

The log contains detailed runtime information that will help our backend team identify the root cause.

Please ensure the log captures the issue at the time it occurs. Steps are as follows:

  1. Enable the Log collection option in Armoury Crate.
  2. Perform the operation that triggers the problem once.
  3. Package and save the Log file.

Once completed, please upload the collected log file to a cloud drive and share with us via private message along with:

  • The download link
  • The approximate time when the issue occurred
  • The steps you performed to reproduce the issue

Sorry, but I only have Lite Log, your standalone utility. I cant enable debugging in Armoury because it doesnt install.
Lite Log, however, generates empty logs - could you please explain how to enable it properly and what steps to take?

I also noticed that despite the 501 error, a process called ROG Live Services appears in Task Manager. It keeps trying to start, crashes, and triggers a hidden Windows error.

Yes, that is exactly what I am seeing. Not only can I not install Armoury Crate for my ROG Rampage Extreme VI, I cannot install it for my Azoth Extreme keyboard, and when I try to open Aura Creator (I have been unable to configure my lights during this entire time) it tells me that the Asus services are not running. They are installed, but they will not start, none of them. I sent my log to Asus, in a PM, earlier, we'll see if anything comes of it.
