I just received 5090 astral LC OC and the card is all fine and quiet, however it emits an annoying low pitch noise which I believe is the pump. I've tried GPU tweak III and FanControl, but I can't see or find a way to adjust the pump speed. My PC did not make this sound before I installed the 5090.
Is there any way to change to pump speed? because I think the noise is a deal breaker.
I have recorded the noise from 30 cm away and isolated the pump noise (increased sound volume).

Yes, my solution was to return it, I'm gonna get another model instead.

Same issue, and also seem to have lost the silicon lottery badly. The Astral 5090 LC OC will go back to the store and I will keep my 5090 Suprim Liquid instead. Not what I expected, especially from a card at this price point.

Can you control the pump speed on the MSI Suprim Liquid?

Straight question that can be answered yes or no, and not with a list of quite irrelevant questions: can the pump speed be adjusted on the 5090 Astral LC or is it like it turned out in the linked thread (https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-graphics-cards/rtx-4090-matrix-annoying-noise-pump-full-speed-a...), this is an issue that we just will have to "deal with"?

Hello @Aureliannn_ROG What is the update on this? The noise is getting unbearable. Sounds like there are crickets making noises in the GPU.

hello i replaced my old 4080 and i noticed this issue the minute i loaded the gpu with occt to test pins and wattage then again for steel nomad . it is not there when the gpu is not about 100% load give or take a little I only installed it last night . I have latest drivers for my mother board asus rog x870-a gaming wifi , last bios update was id say 2 months ago so not most recent . arctic freezer 3 , 360 cpu cooler , cpu 9800x3d -20 under volt, plus 100 on precision boost . ram gskills cl 40 , 8000 mt 48g with a 1.4v adjustment to make stable on previous build . corsair hx1200i , power cable brand new corsair premium individually sleeved 12vhpwr, all green. no issues according to gpu tweak software even at load ever. all seems stable and runs great but the whine is very loud only moderately annoying if the door is closed , but door is open as had to order a new case for this gpu to fit right . gpu tweak was at stock downloaded settings on default so fans on auto for these initial tests to make sure my power cord was functioning right , before i did full reinstall . windows was up to date . I plan to do full windows and everything reinstall today so will update later if changes with bios and all other updates .
