5090 Astral LC OC Pump Noise/Grinding

Hello,

I've got a brand new (a few weeks now) card which has a constant noise in the pump regardless of load. I've move the system around to ensure no air pockets in the pump, and the noise is persistent, regardless of load.  It's pretty apparent even at 10-12 feet away from the PC in normal quiet room conditions.

Please advise on how to resolve this.  Can the pump speed be changed?  It's possible that it's just noise from running at 100% (why?), but I can't find any way to adjust or view pump speed.

Not really a good thing for a product this expensive!

Guess I'll return it and buy an MSI product.

Hi @Chit0

To clarify, the pump on GPU AIOs isn’t adjustable. I've yet to use a single one that is, personally. It’s designed to run at maximum speed at all times. This ensures stable coolant flow across the GPU, memory, and VRM, where consistent thermal performance is critical. The pumps are engineered to run at maximum RPM continuously for it's lifespan.

If the noise persists regardless of orientation and you've tried removing the radiator from the chassis, initiate an RMA. If you need any assistance along the way, let me know
