Strix G15 blasting heat

I have a ROG Strix G15 CF that was overheating. The temps were constantly at 100C after 15 minutes in a game menu (R.E.P.O.).

I took it to a local computer repair shop that we've used for many years. He told us that we should switch to liquid cooling. During this, we discovered that the cable management was horrible and the liquid cooling couldn't fit. We upgraded to a slightly bigger case.

While the component are now staying way cooler, it's blasting out a crazy amount of heat and the room is an oven. The cables in the back are so hot, I'm afraid it's going to melt something. Is it the processor that is an issue? The most advanced game we run is Borderlands 4 and it cranks out so much heat within 45 minutes, it's unbearable. We're running A/C, a standing fan and a ceiling fan to keep air flowing.

Would changing the processor work? I'm willing to downgrade something in order to get to better temps. In game, I've tried setting the optimization down so low, everything looks like playdoh and it doesn't make a difference.

12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700 Processor
32 gb ram
2 tb samsung ssd
nvidia geforce rtx 3070 graphics card

I welcome ideas. Thank you for your time!
