When will we see the new bios update for this intel microcode? I am afraid to fry my cpu using the 0x129 microcode in the 325 version bios. Thanks in advance

All I want to know if when this microcode will be out. I don’t want to slowly degrade my cpu with the 0x129 microcode in BIOS version 325 for the G16CHR

Any update?

Has there been a determination on when the bios will be updated for the model mentioned in this post?

Thank you for your patience.
We have confirmed that the BIOS update with Intel microcode 0x12b for the G16CHR is scheduled to be released in February.
We recommend that you periodically check the ASUS or ROG website for driver downloads after February to see if a new BIOS update has been released for your product.

@Aureliannn_ROG February? Other machines have been updated since August. I just got this machine for Christmas and I am thinking about returning it since it seems like ASUS doesn't want to support this model. I call customer support a couple of weeks ago and they supposedly escalated my ticket and said that they would get back to me, and I never heard back. If this is the kind of customer support ASUS offers, nobody should ever purchase an ASUS product.

"ASUS or ROG website for driver downloads after February"
Dose this mean we have to wait till after February now?
I too got this for Christmas and now it is literally a door stop as I am afraid to use it. I feel these desktops should have been pulled from shelves until the updates were out seems you all knew they could not be used without damage.
