Armoury Crate and Logitech G560

For some reason, Armoury Crate manages to control my Logitech G560 speakers, but I don't know what it depends on or why it can be done, as they basically configure themselves whenever they want. I would like this to be something I could control on demand and not by chance. Does anyone know how to do this?. Hi @jcastillo_sb ,

Thank you for providing information about the issue of Armoury Crate being able to control Logitech G560 speakers.

To assist you more accurately, we would like to further confirm the following:

  • Device list confirmation: Do you mean that the Logitech G560 is listed in the "Devices" list of Armoury Crate? Besides being listed, can you also control the lighting effects of G560 through Armoury Crate?
  • Software reinstallation: Have you tried using the official Armoury Crate uninstall tool to completely remove the software and then reinstall it?
After reinstalling, is the G560 still detected by Armoury Crate?
  • Aura Sync settings: We noticed that we did not find any related information about G560 in the Aura Sync page screenshot you provided.
  • Problem persists: If you have tried the above steps but the problem still persists, could you provide the Armoury Crate log file so that we can conduct a more in-depth analysis?

Providing the above information will help us:

  • Clarify the scope of the problem: We can more clearly understand the interaction between Armoury Crate and G560.
  • Narrow down the problem: By reinstalling the software, we can rule out software installation issues.
  • Analyze the cause of the problem: Log files can provide us with more clues to help us find the root cause of the problem.

Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate logs:
Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
Once you have completed the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and send us the link via private message.
Also, please provide us with your product serial number.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

Hi @Aureliannn_ROG,

To answer your questions:

  • Device list confirmation: Do you mean that the Logitech G560 is listed in the "Devices" list of Armoury Crate? Besides being listed, can you also control the lighting effects of G560 through Armoury Crate?
    - Yes, I can control the lighting effects of my G560 through Armoury Crate but like I said, just sometimes I don't know what depends on.

  • Software reinstallation: Have you tried using the official Armoury Crate uninstall tool to completely remove the software and then reinstall it?
After reinstalling, is the G560 still detected by Armoury Crate?
    - I haven't tried this since there's no problem for me with anything, actually this is a good thing for me because I would like armoury crate to be able to control everything.

  • Aura Sync settings: We noticed that we did not find any related information about G560 in the Aura Sync page screenshot you provided.
    - If with this you are refering to the first screenshot, this is for the Armoury Crate.

  • Problem persists: If you have tried the above steps but the problem still persists, could you provide the Armoury Crate log file so that we can conduct a more in-depth analysis?
    - I'll try to do this but I'm not sure when will this happen, meaning Armoury Crate to be able to detect my speakers.
