Hello ROG team and community,
First of all, thank you for creating such a well-built and comfortable controller. I recently purchased the ROG Raikiri Pro and really enjoy the overall design and feel. However, I was hoping for a bit more when it comes to button customization — especially compared to what’s possible on the ROG Ally.
On the Ally, Armoury Crate allows extensive remapping options:
- Any button can be reassigned
- Keyboard and mouse inputs are supported
- Macros and system/app functions can be used
With the Raikiri Pro, customization is unfortunately quite limited at the moment:
- Only the rear M-buttons can be reassigned — and even those
- can only mirror existing controller buttons
- cannot trigger keyboard, mouse, macro, or system functions
- All main inputs (ABXY, triggers, bumpers, etc.) are locked from remapping
Profiles can be switched on the fly
For a high-end PC controller, I feel that the Raikiri Pro has so much potential — especially if it could benefit from the same software flexibility as the Ally.
Friendly Feature Suggestions:
- Allow remapping of all buttons, not just M1–M4
- Add support for:
- Keyboard & mouse inputs
- Macros and system/app shortcuts
Enable profile switching directly via button or UI
I understand that some features may take time to implement, but I really believe this would elevate the Raikiri Pro experience and help it stand out even more — especially for PC gamers and streamers who value deep customization.
