The ROG Tessen Mobile Controller is great and one of the best controllers I ever used. Far better than the ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad , which was a bad quality one.
But there is a limitation, nearly to be a dealbreaker for me: I don't have a "Xbox" button available
And the ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad has this feature. So, the new controller lost a feature. An important one.
Why this button is important? A few examples:
- I can't access Xbox HUD when I'm streaming Game Pass games
- I can't access NVIDIA GeForce Now HUD
- I can't access Steam overlay from Steam Link
- I can't really simulate the Xbox button when I'm using Moonlight
- I can't access multiple emulators menus
And there are two things that doesn't make sense:
- I have a Home button that is useless. I can't see a reason for that button to exist and I can't remap it. I press that button by accident and it existis my game. I would like to just disable or remap it.
- And it is even more weird that I can remap the ROG button to change the rainbow lights but I can't remap it to the Xbox button from the Xinput.
This button is part of the Xinput protocol. There's no license to use it and even the older ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad had this feature.
