No matter how many times I do a fresh and clean install of windows, delete and remove the drivers , and install official Asus and Mokichu's drivers, windows keeps installing its own Drivers and won't prioritize any drivers I try installing. The worst part is it's installing that Generic Audiopoint driver for everything. Tried cleaning any old drivers, and blocking windows from installing drivers via System >Advance > Device installation setting
I'm honestly not sure what to do here.. Please help.

Hi,
Your audio controllers devices are in "Sound, video and game controllers" category in your Device Manager.
All the devices listed in "Audio inputs and outputs" category in your Device Manager are system devices, using system drivers which are not meant to be updated (whose version corresponds to the version of the system, Windows 11 in your case).

Hey Mokichu, thank you for all the drivers and updates.
I understand. The problem is these weren't the driver types before. I was able to use the Firmware updater for sound on the z690-E page but now it's not even recognizing the firmware or audio device on my computer. Also before your drivers for my audio worked perfectly, now it doesn't even show up after I install it. Tried hard cleaning and everything. If this is what it's supposed to look like then Idk. Thank you!

Hello, @zGeostigma
Regarding disabling the Windows automatic update feature, please refer to the instructions provided in [Windows 11/10] Introduction to the Windows Update Feature, which also includes relevant limitations.
May I inquire about the model of your current motherboard, the OS, and the version of the audio driver you are using?
Did the audio issue occur after updating the drivers through Windows automatic updates?
What were the versions before and after the update?
Would installing the latest drivers provided on the ASUS official website help eliminate the audio issue?
Thank you.
