Hi, after an Armoury Crate update for the headphones, I started to get strange audio quality and I tried to solve it in every way, as I couldn't I decided to format Windows, after formatting I fully updated Windows and installed all the PC component drivers + Armoury Crate and the audio is still the same. I've tried messing with the audio profiles of Armoury Crate, DTS, Sonic Studio, Sonic Radar, Audio Enchancements off/on and nothing worked, my audio configuration was all off with the audio profile of Armoury Crate on "Gaming". Please help, it's been 2 weeks with this.

Hi @Jonybtw ,
based on your issue, could you provide more details about the audio quality problem you are experiencing?
Please confirm whether the Audio SDK in Armoury Crate has been updated to v3.01.19.
Have you tried using the uninstall tool to remove the software and then reinstalling it?
Have you adjusted the headphone's audio settings in Armoury Crate? Did the problem occur after an update?
Please provide screenshots of the Armoury Crate update center page and logs for our reference. Thank you.
For log operation steps, please refer to Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)

Hi, sorry for delays.
Could you provide more details about the audio quality problem you are experiencing?
The audio isn't just what it was before it sounds to "basic" it's hard to describe but as said before I didn't use any software from the drivers (SS3/SR3, Realtek Audio Console, DTS, etc...) neither any EQ's or Audio Enchancements, I just used the "Gaming" profile on Armoury Crate with the 7.1 button enabled on the headphones.
Please confirm whether the Audio SDK in Armoury Crate has been updated to v3.01.19
Yes, I think the Audio SDK it's in the v3.01.19 (check screenshot).
Have you tried using the uninstall tool to remove the software and then reinstalling it?
Yes, I've tried reinstalling Armoury Crate before the format with the tool.
Have you adjusted the headphone's audio settings in Armoury Crate?
Yes, I've tried to mess with Armoury Crate's settings.
Did the problem occur after an update?
I can't 100% tell as I'm not sure if it was due to the update or something else but the audio changed after the update.
Logs and SN on your PM.

Hi @Jonybtw ,
we have received your private message.
We would like to inquire about the differences you have noticed in the audio after the update compared to before.
For example, any issues like noise, popping sounds, or flat audio.
If can, kindly provide the video demonstrating the sound issue.
Please note that the new version of the driver is designed to have smoother audio compared to the previous version.
Thank you.

Hi @Aureliannn_ROG,
before the audio was clean and clear, now it's so flat and with highly noticeable reverb that I had to turn it off in Armoury Crate, I had popping sounds while experimenting with Audio Enchancements On.
In the video (PM) I'm using clips from old games, you can see the difference in quality and reverb when I pause the file, which wasn't as noticeable as before.
Regarding the driver, is it possible to use the previous one? Is there a problem you found with the log I sent? Do I format again?
I miss my old audio, please help.
Thank you.
