ROG Phone 7 x ROG Delta S Animate low volume

LazzoLeon
Level 8

Rog delta s animate headphones gets detected only on bottom type C port, that too with volume significantly lower than when connected to PC. If I set the volume to anything less than 75% i could barely hear anything to be precise. So the range where anything is audible is around 80 - 100% with 100% being normal volume.

Now I don't know if it's because the type C port doesn't provide enough power for the headphones to function normally ( i mean the LED anime matrix are working fine) or if its something they missed. There are profiles for ROG delta but not for ROG delta S variants in audiowizard app.

So .... Am I the only one with this doubt? It's not a deal breaker or anything but something that I want to have some clarity or an answer for 🤔.

Hi @LazzoLeon ,

Thank you for contacting us regarding the volume issue with your earphones.

We understand that you're experiencing a significant decrease in volume when connecting your earphones to your computer compared to your mobile phone. To troubleshoot this issue, please try the following steps:

  • Check Volume Settings:
Computer: Ensure that the system volume, playback software volume, and the earphone's volume control are all set to maximum.
Mobile Phone: Ensure that the phone's system volume, music playback software volume, and the earphone's volume control are all set to maximum.
  • Update Audio Drivers:
Visit your computer website or sound card manufacturer's website to download and install the latest audio drivers.
  • Change Audio Output Port:
If your computer has multiple audio output ports, try connecting to a different port.
  • Replace the Audio Cable:
Try using a different earphone cable to rule out the possibility of a damaged cable.
  • Test with Another Device:
Connect your earphones to another device (e.g., tablet) to see if the issue persists. If the volume is normal on other devices, the problem may be with your computer.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, we recommend sending your earphones to a nearby ASUS service center for inspection. You can find a service center near you by visiting: Official Support | ASUS Global

Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

No sir, Headphones are working just fine on my computer. The reduced volume issue is on ROG phone 7 alone. I tried it on ROG Phone 2, iPhone 15, iPad, IQOO - Volume is normal - Considerably loud. But on ROG phone 7 it has a lower volume compared to devices that I have tried. There was another user with a post similar to mine. So do look into it.Screenshot_20240805-125240_Settings.jpg
