I've followed all of the troubleshooting steps. Tried 4 different devices including a Macbook. Wireless just does not work at all. Firmware is updated. Held function button for 15 seconds, restarted PC everything under the sun. I heard there is some sort of pairing tool for the Pelta but could not find it in the downloads section. I dont want to have to return this headset. Any way to get the pairing tool people keep mentioning?

Tested Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux Mint and also MacOS Tahoe. 2.4 does not work with this headset. Cable works fine with audio, BT works fine with audio. It's literally just the dongle.

Hello Seathasky
Try using the usb-c to usb-a adapter for the wireless dongle.
It should be found in the box.

That's how I have it plugged in already, the dongle is not pairing with or without the adapter.

Thank you
Having a look in the manual, you shouldn't need to do anything special to get it to pair with 2.4GHz.
1) Plug the USB-C wireless dongle directly into a compatible USB-C port on your device (PC, PS5, Switch, etc.). If your device only has USB-A ports, use the included USB-C to USB-A dongle adapter.
2) Power on the headset, the headset will automatically attempt to connect to the dongle.
3) Once connected, the LED indicator on the headset will show a stable light.
Troubleshooting:
1) Ensure the headset is in the correct mode (2.4GHz).
2) Move closer to the dongle to reduce interference.
3) Disconnect and reconnect the wireless dongle, you can try other usb ports as well.
4) Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
5) Pressing and holding the function button for 15 seconds resets the headset.
If none of this helps, are there any firmware update files in your downloads?
If yours looks similar, run both the Device_FW and Dongle_FW.

I have already run all of these steps as they were in another thread about this device. This dongle will not pair. I also stated in my initial post that the firmware was updated. That was the first thing I said.

Ok,
You might want to contact an official ASUS Support Center for your region.
If they're able to get your ROG Pelta paired, please come back and provide the solution.
Give us an update anytime.
Thank you

I thought that was what I was doing with this forum post

Most stores give a 30-day warranty, if you're still within the 30-day warranty, contact the store you purchased it from.
After that, ASUS gives a 1-year warranty on their peripherals in most countries. If they can't get you paired, they will most likely initiate an RMA.
I can help you with this, let me know how you make out.

I'm not going to initiate an RMA on something I purchased yesterday. Since I can not get support here or from the Asus site in my region, I will be returning my device and buying a different brand. The fact that both this site and the customer service site are not willing to help me is a good enough reason to go for a brand that will.
