ROG Pelta Charging Issue

Hi, i want to ask about the issue of ROG Pelta charging which suffered recently. The issue is the charging status won't get higher than 45 percent even after charging for several hours. The battery percentage also changes every time the headphone is plugged out (from 45 to 23 percent) and will back to the 45 percent when plugged again. Hopefully there is a solution for this case, thankyou.

Regarding the charging issue with your ROG Pelta headset, we recommend that you follow the steps below for troubleshooting:

1. Please make sure you are using the original ASUS-supplied USB-C cable and charger, and avoid using extension cables or third-party hubs.
2. Try charging from a different USB port or another power adapter to rule out power supply issues.
3. Kindly confirm if the issue has been present since you first purchased the headset.
4. Please install or update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, and check if there are any available firmware updates for the headset.

If the issue persists after completing the above steps, please:

Provide the product serial number (S/N) via private message so we can escalate the case to the relevant team for further analysis.

I have the same issue , any fixes out now? Otherwise I will Need to Return it. 

Im using the original cable, already tried different Ports , already tried the cable from my HFX Falchion , latest Firmware is installed nothing helps. 

And another Problem , my Headset always stays offline if I restart my pc. I always Need to unplug/ plug the dongle to get the headset working again.

Ive also had this issue for months now, the armour crate app shows a percentage that will not go past 57, and the charging icon will not stay on, it simply will not charge. this is extremely unacceptable.

Hello everyone, had to create this account just to mention that the same is happening to me. I bought this headset 1 month ago and the issue started 1 week ago when I updated to the new Armoury Crate (before I was using the ROG PELTA software).
I tried already factory reset, tried different outlets,  using the original usb cable, updated firmware, updated ROG software but nothing helped, it says it's charging but doesn't go up more than 35% and headset lights turn off after two "breaths". Also worth saying that I can hear a subtle noise in my left ear when plugged, like ecstatic.

I am experiencing the same issue after updating from ROG PELTA 1.0.1.6 to 1.0.1.7, including the firmware updates for both the device and dongle. I purchased my ROG PELTA A501 around June, and it worked perfectly until I installed the latest update. The battery issue only began after I updated the software on September 4, even though the update was released on July 31, 2025.

The only workaround that has worked so far is draining the battery completely to 0% and then charging it back to 100%. However, if I try charging it without fully draining the battery first, it won’t charge at all and instead shows incorrect or fluctuating percentages (for example, jumping from 23% to 38%, then later dropping suddenly to 18%). Even when kept plugged in, the percentage often doesn’t move at all.

There are also odd behaviors while charging such as the RGB lighting acting up, which never happened before. Normally, it should only blink the red LED twice to indicate charging, but now the behavior is inconsistent.

Please investigate and fix this issue immediately.

I created an account just to comment. Why are Rog products always defective? My brand new rog pelta won't charge above 35%. This is so annoying, I regret wasting my money on this.
