ROG DELTA II WIRELESS firmware update not showing in armoury crate

Hi 

I got my self a pair of ROG DELTA II but when I installed armoury crate to update it the update was no where to be found , I used two PCs and both armoury cate gear and full armoury crate yet still nothing

connected the doungle both using USB-C and USB-A , also tried to connect the headset via USB cable but that also didnt help

in the update center i noticed that the "device firmware" section is missing as a whole from the DELTA II components , so how should i go about fixing this issue? Do i need to RMA this headset?missing "device firmware" sectionmissing "device firmware" section

However, please note the following before updating:

Turn off your earbuds: Please make sure to turn off your earbuds completely before starting the firmware update.

After completing the update, please check if the issue has been resolved.

  1. Headset abnormality: Are you currently experiencing any specific abnormalities with your headset? For example, intermittent sound, inability to connect, poor sound quality, etc., please describe it in detail.
  2. Software uninstallation: Have you tried using the "Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool" to completely uninstall and reinstall the software? This step helps to rule out software conflicts.
  3. Bluetooth connection: If you are using a Bluetooth connection to your headset, do you encounter the same problem when switching to other Bluetooth devices?
  4. Firmware update: In the headset settings or device manager, is there an option to "update driver" or "update firmware"? We recommend that you try updating it.
  5. Log file: To help us better understand the problem, could you please provide the Armoury Crate log file?

The logs contain detailed information about the software's operation and can help the team identify the problem.
Please ensure that the logs accurately record the occurrence of the issue.
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate logs:

Hi, so let me answer your questions one by one.

1- No headset abnormality

2- Uninstall tool has been used multiple times but didnt help

3- no problem with bluetooth

4- here comes the issue , armoury crate dosent detect frimware update for my headset hen i know for a fact that there were multiple firmware updates released for that headset , current firmware version 00.03.00 but the latest firmware supposed to be 00.03.09 , and as i showed in the original post the "device firmware" section is completly missing from the DELTA II  device components.
will provide log file and an image that shows the diffrence betweem my headset and others

Hi Nate

Yes I did that like 100 times since I got the headset yesterday each time hoping that armoury crate would find the FW update but sadly no luck as shown by the video linked below. the headset acting like it dosen't support FW update which indicated by the missing "Device Firmware" section , so IDK if i got a headset with locked FW update somehow or armoury crate latest version is completly broken !!

Just got mine today and having the same issue. What I noticed was that after connecting the usb cable in the headset the on/off button blink red and goes off. After turning on/off to off, the light should goes red to be able to update the firmware. But it goes off.  

Tried the factory reset but no success.

Feels sad man , this is the 3rd report of the same problem with the same headset, hopefully asus figure what's going on here !!

It’s exactly the same issue that you have.There is no information about the firmware version of the headset on ArmouryCrate
